Ducktails are playing in Seoul and tickets go on sale today.

Hypnagogic pop sensations Ducktails recently announced their plans to tour east Asia featuring live dates in Japan, China, Thailand, Philipines and of course South Korea.

Ducktails were formed in 2009 by former Real Estate guitarist Matt Mondanile. Since then they’ve released a slew of excellent work including 2011’s Ducktails III and 2015’s St. Catherine. Their music is a blend of retrocentric, dreamy chillwave with a heavy influence from 80s pop music and elements of psychedelia.

This is not their first time in Seoul having played a sold-out show here in 2016. Both shows were/are hosted by the excellent Gimbab Records who are also bringing Japanese Breakfast and Mild High Club to Seoul later this year. Watch this space for information on ticket releases for these shows. In the past Gimbab Records have hosted shows with the likes of Owen Pallet, Destroyer and Perfume Genius.

Ducktails are playing live in Seoul on November 15th and will feature support from Korean band Parasol. Tickets for Ducktails go on sale today at 6pm. They’re sure to sell fast so avoid disappointment by getting yours here.
